10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Dug In Farms

This is a beginner’s course to the world of pen and ink drawing. Natalie Jackson, an artist competing in this year’s ArtPrize10, will discuss the basic patterns of nature and use techniques to create these movements. There will be a short lecture to familiarize students with pen & ink drawing, as well as other styles of pen and ink including Ink wash painting (sumi-e ink). However, this is primarily a hands-on course. The class will be held outdoors at the farm, so dress appropriately. Drinks, shade, and facilities will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring snacks or lunch.
