Sauteed Purple Pak Choi


For those who love trying new things but aren't quite sure where to start, here's a recipe that couldn't be easier! Pak Choi and Bok Choy are essentially the same vegetable, however, the tenderness of these small pak choi are fabulous, and who can resist purple? Enjoy!

What you need:

  • 1-2 small pak choi

  • ½ inch fresh ginger root

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (or olive oil)

Directions:

  • Separate the pak choi leaves

  • Roughly chop the leaves.

  • Peel and grate the ginger. Peel and crush the garlic.

  • Heat the oil in a wok until almost smoking.

  • Add the garlic and ginger.

  • Cook for 1 minute, stirring often. Mix well.

  • Cover and cook for 2 minutes Serves 4
